Windom Antenna 750 Watt For those of you who own a big PA, I can offer this Windom antenna with a low-loss balun rated at above 750W PEP. This 1:4 Current Balun consists of a universal centre insulator and two TX36/23/15-4C65 toroids that are wound using Teflon-coated wire. A SO239 socket is fitted to the central insulator to allow easy connection of the coaxial cable. All nuts and bolts are made of stainless steel, and all soldered connections are weatherproofed using adhesive-coated shrink-tubing. For fixed use I advise the model with DX-WIRE A, For portable use the plastic-coated antenne litze wire DX-WIRE FL (diameter 2mm) is recommended. This litze wire is much more visible .However, the flexible qualities of the litze wire make the antenna much easier to handle than one wound with DX-WIRE A. 6-Band Windom 750 Watt - DX-WIRE A, 42m long, 80/40/20/17/12/10m with SO 239 socket, without coax or guy-lines, 64 Euro plus P&P 6-Band Windom 750 Watt - Litze FL, 42m long, 80/40/20/17/12/10m with SO 239 socket, Antenna litze wire DX-WIRE FL with plastic coating, Stainless steel clamps.
